Baby boy:

I delivered the baby with no complications. I had him at a birth center where he was delivered in the tub, safe and sound. I was so in love from the start. I thought, maybe now he will be the man he needs to be. Not only for me, but for our baby. At just two days old, his dad decides it’s a good idea to go to a club. Leaving me alone with a 2-day old baby. I thought; well, we will just be resting and healing anyway, right? The next day, his father was extra distant and not acting like himself. Hiding out in the car and being shady. And what do you know? When I got the chance, I peaked at his phone to find text messages of a girl he met last night. She was half naked in the picture. Words were exchanged to where cheating might as well have happened. We just had a baby, and I was still healing from it. How could he?! The promises that he will change and do better seem like a record on repeat. I decided to just focus on taking care of my baby and so I did. He grew and grew and before I knew it he was two! It seemed to me that he was a little delayed in his speech. My sister, who is a speech pathologist suggested he could be autistic or simply just delayed. We got him the speech that he needed and he blossomed! Delayed or not he was still the might happy baby I have ever met. He was the joy of my life. His father saw this happiness and decided to have his way with me again. The refusal was ignored and I was stuck, again. I tossed and turned on whether I should follow through. If it was God’s will, then how could I ignore that? 4 weeks went by and yes, I was indeed pregnant again.
